Centurion operates more than 780 vehicles and other specialised pieces of equipment in the transport and distribution of goods. We have the equipment, experience and appropriate accreditations to move everything from food stuff requiring freezer or chiller capability to the heavy and/or bulky equipment required to support the energy and resource sectors. Centurion's vehicles travel over 25 million kilometres each year with some regular line haul routes in excess of 3,000 km.
Services include line haul, general freight consolidation and distribution, off site receipting, express freight, cold chain cross-dock and distribution, metro courier and parcel pickups, hot shots (priority freight) and more. All of this backed by leading edge track and trace technology.
Centurion's distribution capability provides further value to clients providing the complete end to end service offering. Centurion can pick orders, provide quality checks on products and also deliver in order or job lots directly to retail outlets or worksites. Centurion offsite receiving ensures goods are correctly identified, labelled and acquitted in line with individual client requirements. These tailored solutions ensure that our clients can leverage our technology solutions and transport infrastructure to cater for their own unique needs and those of their clients.
The new Hazelmere supply base, located near the Perth International Airport, is Western Australia's newest custom designed logistics terminal. This state of the art facility comprises the following:
- 80,000 m2 in total area
- Consolidation dock of 7,500 m2
- Undercover receiving and loading area of 11,500 m2
- OSR enclosed and air-conditioned area of 2,100 m2
- Operations office area of 400 m2
- Administration office area of 1,200 m2
The scope of services offered include a metro courier pickup and delivery service, port collection and delivery, freight consolidation and warehousing, refrigerated goods consolidation and distribution, hot shots, transport services to remote mine sites and scheduled line haul services throughout the Pilbara, Murchison, Kimberley and Goldfields.
Centurion has an extensive regional structure, with branches in Karratha, Port Hedland, Broome, Kalgoorlie, Carnarvon, Newman, Tom Price and Kununurra. In addition to these branches, Centurion has permanent on-site equipment and personnel at a number of additional sites.
